Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis' wife Amruta Fadnavis has debuted as playback singer for the movie "Jai Gangaajal" starring Priyanka Chopra. The song has just been released online.
Mrs Fadnavis has sung a devotional song in the Prakash Jha movie. She says she has not accepted any payment for this or any of her other singing assignments.
Ask Amruta what made her foray into films and pat comes the reply: "Since 'Sangharsh Yatra' is a special film and very close to my heart, I immediately said yes to it. I have sung an inspirational song which plays at many strategic points in the film directed by Sakar Raut."
