On Monday, 25 July, Salman Khan was acquitted by the The Rajasthan High Court today acquitted Salman Khan in the 1998 twin poaching cases. Salman was accused of killing a Blackbuck and a Chinkara, both protected species, while shooting for Sooraj Barjatya’s Hum Saath Saath Hain in Rajasthan.
While Salman fans (popularly known as 'Bhaitards' and 'Salmaniacs') rejoiced with the verdict (#WeLoveSalmanKhan was trending for over two days on Twitter), there were many who also showed their disappointment.
