Veerappan is the Hindi remake of Ram Gopal Varma’s Kannada directorial debut Killing Veerappan which released on January 1, 2016. The film’s find is the NSD-trained Sandeep Bhardwaj, whose transformation into Veerappan has been credited to make-up artist Vikram Gaikwad.
“It took 10 years to kill Osama Bin Laden and 20 years to kill Veerappan. No villain like Veerappan ever existed,” it says.
'Veerappan' is a docu-drama thriller based on the events leading to Operation Cocoon to capture the Indian bandit Veerappan.
The much awaited film features Sandeep Bhardwaj, Sachiin J Joshi, Usha Jadhav and Lisa Ray in key roles. 'Veerappan' is all set to hit the silver screen on May 27th this year.
