Shah Rukh Khan to make a sequel to his superhero flick, Ra.One!

The film will be titled G.One!

Shah Rukh Khan's Ra.One was an open-ended film. The ending left us hoping there would be a sequel but ever since then, there had been no such talks anymore. But now, in a recent interview, Shah Rukh has confirmed that there will indeed be a sequel to the superhero flick.



If you remember, the film had ended with a teaser where Shah Rukh Khan‘s android character, G.One, is revived from oblivion! In a recent interview, SRK confirmed that there are plans to make a sequel to the film, if everything goes right! He had said, ”Today, technology has changed. In the last 5 years, I have learnt a lot about technology myself. So we are trying to make it bigger and better. Ra.One sequel is definitely happening. We will call it G.One this time.”

Now that he's already announced it, we hope the work on the film starts soon. But will the team retain the cast? Or will we see another heroine in Kareena Kapoor's place. Let's see what happens next!

Though the Dilwale star has not confirmed when he will start working on the film (There is also that Breaking Bad remake!), let’s keep our fingers crossed and pray that it will roll soon and turn out to be a much better film than the original. Ra.One was directed by Anubhav Sinha, and also starred Arjun Rampal as the villain, along with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Satish Shah, Dalip Tahil with Sanjay Dutt, Priyanka Chopra and Thalaiva Rajinikanth in cameo appearances! Though the film was a success at the box office, it was not met with positive reviews.
