Shah Rukh Khan fan Rishina Kandhari talks about her circus set on Udaan

The petite TV actress, who is the latest entrant on Udaan will be seen as a circus owner

Here’s more about the new person in Chakor’s (Spandan Chaturvedi) life. Rishina Kandhari, who was seen playing the role of the fashionista, Nikki Sarna on Tashan-E-Ishq will now be seen on Udaan.

Talking about her role, Rishina says, “My character’s name is Vishaka and she is the owner of Rainbow Circus. She is a stubborn, straight forward and positive person but very strict when comes to her work. She does not show emotions and does what is good for her business. Her circus is running losses so she wants to be practical all the time and removes people who are worthless.

Chakor (Spandan Chaturvedi) is hiding in the circus when Vishaka comes to know she tells her whosoever earns for the circus can eat and wants her to do some work. I wanted to do this role because I can relate to it. I have learnt gymnastic and acrobatics and I hope I can use some of that knowledge on the show. I grew up watching the show, Circus, which starred Shah Rukh Khan and always wanted to do such a show. I have started doing scenes with horses, jokers, circus dogs (Pomeranians) and acrobats.

The ambiance is very colourful unlike a typical daily soap. I never thought I would get such an experience in the age of saas bahu sagas. In childhood, I used to go to the circus with my family.” On being asked how it’s like shooting with Spandan Chaturvedi, Rishina says, “It’s first time I am shooting with a girl and one gets to learn so many things just by observing her.”
