Confirmed! Sanjay Dutt to be released from jail in March 2016!

And finally the actor can breathe a sigh of relief….

Recently it was been revealed that 1993 Mumbai blasts convict Sanjay Dutt’s jail term has been cut short by 6 months owing to his good behaviour through his tenure. A leading daily reported that the actor will be freed from jail early next year where the rule book suggests an inmate can get a respite of 114 days if they have behaved well during their term in jail. Well, it can now be confirmed that the Munna Bhai actor is legally set to walk out free from jail, in the first week of March 2016. Yes!

An official source from Yerawada Jail just released a statement stating Sanjay will walk out a free man in first week of March. For all that we know, the actor was serving his 5-year long jail sentence since May 2013 for illegal possession of arms in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts. However ever since, he has been frequently taking temporary leaves in the form of parole and furloughs. But now that his official release day is out, we are glad that he’ll finally be back home!
