Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur to reunite for the Hindi remake of OK Kanmani!

Aditya Roy Kapur is sure on a roll with good movie offers in his kitty! On Monday, the actor celebrated his birthday on the sets of Abhishek Kapoor’s upcoming period drama, Fitoor, and what could’ve been a better gift than to be offered a role in the remake of Mani Ratnam’s film? There have been rumours of who will be his lady love in the remake of Ratnam’s coming of age hit film, O Kadhal Kanmani but looks like this report from a leading tabloid confirms that Shraddha Kapoor will be the female lead.

We’ve already seen these two actors create magic onscreen with Aashique 2 and needless to say, their pairing has been tremendously accepted. The original leads of the film, Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen’s pair was so refreshing that they instantly connected with the audience! The movie will be directed by Shaad Ali and will be co-written by him and Mani Ratnam. While Aditya and Shraddha wear the shoes of two commitment phobic individuals who decide to live in together, their landlord will be portrayed by Prakash Raj, who played the same role in the original film. And for all the music lovers, a big treat by Shaad and Ratnam as AR Rahman will score the music for the remake!
