Salman Dismisses Reports of Fight With Aamir as 'Ridiculous Controversy'

Salman Khan plays the role of Haryanvi wrestler Sultan Ali Khan in his upcoming film Sultan while Aamir will also be seen as a Haryanvi wrestler in his film Dangal. However, Salman said that the films are completely different from each other

Actor Salman Khan has denied reports of a fight with Aamir Khan.

Salman reportedly had a fight with Aamir at a party few months ago.

"There is no truth to these reports of rift between Aamir and me. You know how these things are written. There was nothing like that," Salman told PTI.

Salman plays the role of Haryanvi wrestler Sultan Ali Khan in his upcoming film Sultan while Aamir will also be seen as a Haryanvi wrestler in his film Dangal. However, Salman said that the films are completely different from each other.

"Both the films are very different. I know what Aamir is making. Dangal is an amazing true story about a father and his two children. It is a lovely and an outstanding film. On the other hand, Sultan is actually a romantic film. It is about sports and a man fighting to win over his life back again. There is no chance of comparison," said Salman.

"We don't want that comparison between my film and his because we are both working sincerely as we can and we want fans to see two good films next year. I don't want any ridiculous controversy around the films," added Salman.(Also Read: Aamir's Dangal vs Salman's Sultan: Bollywood's Curious Case of Same Pinch)

Salman also said that there are more important things to discuss about than his relationship with Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir.

"There are more important things in the country to concentrate on than our friendship. People talk about my friendship with Aamir and Shah Rukh but don't discuss important issues. We are just movie stars who are trying to do their work," said Salman.

Meanwhile, Salman is gearing up for the release of Sooraj Barjatya's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, co-starring Sonam Kapoor. The film will release on November 12.
