Prem Ratan Dhan Payo box office collection: Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor’s film earns Rs 143.39 crore in 5 days!

Though the film dipped on Monday, it continues to hold a good occupancy…

Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor-starrer, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo continued its good run at the box office on Monday by adding another Rs 13.62 crore to take its total domestic box office tally to Rs 143.39 crore in 5 days. While the film performed fabulously over the weekend, earning about Rs 129.77 crore, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo dipped drastically on Monday. However, it is all set to touch Rs 150 crore by tomorrow.
As trade analyst Taran Adarash tweeted, “#PremRatanDhanPayo Thu 40.35 cr, Fri 31.05 cr, Sat 30.07 cr, Sun 28.30 cr, Mon 13.62 cr. Total: Rs 143.39 cr. Hindi version. India biz. #PremRatanDhanPayo to cross Rs 150 cr on Tue/Day 6 [today]. India biz. Hindi version.”

PRDP has already crossed Rs 250 crores at the worldwide box office and with no other big release this weekend, the film is all set to do well over the first week and rake in the moolah. The film has maintained a decent occupancy too. The film received mixed reviews, but a lot of people especially in the Tier II & III cities have loved the film. As exhibitor and distributor, Akshaye Rathi added, “The film has done much better at the single screen theatres in the Tier II & III cities. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo has appealed more to families, middle aged women and men.”
